Student schedules will be visible online from Campus Parent or Campus Student on Thursday, August 20th.
All 6th Graders and ALL Newly Enrolled to RMS Schedule Pick Up: Thursday, August 20th between 10 am-2 pm. Students and their parent/guardian should attend together.
Back to School Kick Off (All grades): Wednesday, August 26th, between 1-7 pm. Students and their parent/guardian should attend together.
First Day of School: Monday, August 31st, Blue Day
No School: Friday, September 4th and Monday, September 7th

Schedules for Students

Student schedules will be visible online from Campus Parent or Campus Student at 9am on Thursday, August 20th.

Students can also pick up a printed copy of their schedule at the following grade specific events:

All 6th Graders and ALL students Newly Enrolled to RMS Schedule Pick Up: Thursday, August 20th between 10am-2 pm. Students and their parent/guardian should attend together.
Back to School Kick Off (all grades): Wednesday, August 26th, between 1pm -7pm. Students and their parent/guardian should attend together.

RMS and District 196 Calendars

School Start and End Times and Daily Schedule

RMS school start time is 8:20 am and end time is 3:10 pm.

Students may not be dropped off prior to 6:30 am.
Students must wait in the hallway by the main office, until 8:00 am. Students may then go to their locker or other parts of the building.
Breakfast is available between 8:00am to 8:15 am
Arrival of Buses: 8:00 am (approx.)
1st Hour Begins: 8:20 am
6th Hour Ends: 3:10 pm
Students must be picked up by 3:30 pm
Students may not stay after school unless supervised by a staff member and in an organized activity.

Required Annual Review for Emergency Contact and Health Information

Campus Parent Accounts

Campus Parent accounts are required to go through the annual review process of verifying their emergency contact and health information. When parent/guardian accesses their Campus Portal account (through a web browser, not the Campus App) they will be required to complete the annual review process before they can access the information in the portal.

RMS Fall Sports

Registration for Fall Sports begins Saturday, August 1st, 2026.

Fall sports begin Tuesday, September 8th.

Boys and Girls Cross Country (6th-8th grade)
Boys and Girls Soccer (7th & 8th grade)
Girls Tennis (7th & 8th grade)
Volleyball (7th & 8th grade)

A current sports physical (current for 3 years from date of exam) must be on file with the RMS school nurse to be able to register.The participation fee is $110 per season. Each season is approximately six weeks. Details for RMS athletics can be found here.

Arts and Clubs

At Rosemount Middle School, There are Arts and Activities for Every Student

Students are invited and encouraged to participate in a variety of fine arts opportunities and activities. We have a number of academic clubs, fine arts experiences and theater opportunities, and we are always adding more! Clubs and Activities will announce dates and sign-up times in weekly emails, morning announcements to students, and flyers posted around the school. Keep watching for Fall opportunities as they develop.

How do I change my phone or email address in Campus Parent?

Parents/Guardians have the ability to update their email and/or phone numbers through Campus Parent.

Note - A Campus Parent account must be set up in order to make these changes.

To modify this information follow the steps below.

Navigate to the District 196 website www.district196.org
Hover your mouse over Community and then click on Infinite Campus.

Scroll down to Family Access and click on Infinite Campus and then Infinite Campus LOGIN.
- Note - If you have not set up your Campus Parent (portal) account, you will need to contact your child’s school for more information.

Click on Campus Parent and then log in with your Parent Username and Password. Click Log In.

Once logged in, click on the 3 lines and then click on More.

Click on Family Information to pull up the members of the Household.

Educational Benefits

Families are encouraged to apply for Educational Benefits

Families are encouraged to complete an Educational Benefits Application. Your children may qualify! Applications for the upcoming school year are available beginning mid-July.

While meals are free for all students, all families are highly encouraged to complete an Application for Educational Benefits. Your approved application provides critical funding to our school district. This compensatory aid helps increase funding for teachers, paraprofessionals and social workers to include math and reading support.
